Congratulations Final 10, you've outlasted half of the cast.
Everyone has had the chance to get familiar with the game mechanics, so it is time to introduce a few novelties.
The first post is pretty vague about the finale process, and it is now time to shed some light on how the final round will be played.
Instead of just facing each other off, the Finalists will also be playing with the Jury members.
From now on, every eliminated player receives a deck of 9 regular cards to use during the finale.
The finalists will receive a deck only containing Bonus Cards (1 Blue/Red/Green Multi, 1 Pink Arrow/Sword/, and 3
At that point, the Jurors will be allowed to challenge the Finalists to a Battle using their cards.
A juror may face the same finalist up to 5 times. Finalists may also face off with each other, but may only battle the same finalist twice.
After the final round, the person with the most total points will be crowned the winner.
The card distribution will be a little different from her on out as well.
First, I'm giving you a deck that includes 1 copy of each of the regular cards.
I also randomised a set of 15 Bonus Cards;
2 Pink Swords
2 Pink Arrows
2 Pink Wands
2 Red Multi-weapons
2 Blue Multi-weapons
2 Green Multi-weapons
3 Pink Multi-weapons
I will soon distribute 1 of those cards to each of you.
This will leave you with 10 cards.
The remaining Bonus Cards will be auctioned for public bidding.
Within the next 24 hours, you will have to:
• Split your 10 cards into two hands of 5 cards. The first hand will be used this round, the second hand will be used next round.
If you fail to do so, your hands will be:
[Random Bonus Card]
• Publicly place a bid for any of the leftover Bonus Cards.
• Trade any cards you have amongst yourselves.
Bidding will start 12 hours from this post and will end 12 hours later. A bid must include one of the cards from the 10 you received plus a number of Points from your War History.
You may not go negative, and you may not trade the card currently used in your bid.
If a bid is unchallenged for 1 hour or if the deadline is reached, the person who placed the last bid on an item wins the item.
Here are your point totals:
The following cards are up for Bidding:
Pink Multi-Weapon A
Green Multi-Weapon A
Pink Multi-Weapon B
Green Multi-Weapon B
(The letters were added post-randomisation for clarity purposes)
Moreover, the following item is also up for auction:
The Time Warp allows any player to choose a Battle by quoting the messages representing that Battle or referring to the Battle number.
They can play the Time Warp to void the results of that battle and replace one of the players involved, and play one of their cards instead.
The cards will still be discarded. Bidding for this item starts at 13 Points (the price was set at 10% of the total War History, including that of the eliminated players).
A player may initiate an exchange by sending me AND the player they wanna trade cards with a Private Message containing:
"I would like to exchange my [CARD] for [PLAYER'S CARD]"
Once that is done, the player may accept the exchange by sending me and the player who initiated the exchange a PM attesting that they accept the exchange.
You cannot request another player's Bonus Card, but you can offer to trade your own Bonus Card.
If a trade has not been properly accepted before the deadline, it is considered declined. If the username of the other player involved is missing from the Recipients field, the exchange is invalid, whether you're initiating or accepting an exchange.
If you trade a card after you've selected your hand, the card you received will take the place of the card you gave, unless you rearrange your hand.
I will now send you the bonus card you received.
The 24 hours to complete the round's tasks start now, however.
Beginning of the auction: 7:45AM EST
Maeve, for the second time, you are the Soldier of Honour!
Phoebe, you are the Fool, for the second consecutive time. Congrats!
Finally, because we have a tie for last place...
You six are the nominees.
Maeve, you may now eliminate one of those players.
One additional elimination will cost you 11 points.
Because of the abnormal amount of inactivity this round, you will get a discount on your next purchases.
Upon your next purchase, you may proceed to:
• Another elimination for 10 points (any additional elimination will cost you 10 points)
• A double elimination for 15 points (any additional elimination will cost you 10 points)
You have 39 points at your disposal, which means you may eliminate up to 5 players for 36 points.
However, the more players you eliminate, the more difficult it will be for you to build up some points in time for the finale.
Maeve: Okay, well it seems like most people are kind of over this game. I get it. However, I don't really care to waste all of my points to eliminate five of you, even though all six of you should probably go. With that being said, I have decided to eliminate 2-4 players at this juncture to best punish incompetence while maximizing my personal income.
Ultimately, this is all business. As I've said, this is a bordello, not a welfare office. Let's begin.
I can't be the only person confused by this. EvilxElf-INTM is playing as Naz, while Naz is playing as Kyungran instead of VanityEgo. While I appreciate your attempts to fill a different role, I need some kind of stability in my life. It's part of my programming.
So let me help clarify this situation for myself, and everyone else.
One Naz will stay, and one Naz will go. The Naz staying is...
You did express that you wished to remain in the competition, so I will grant you that wish. You are safe.
This Naz is eliminated. If we had started on the same team, I would have been willing to work with you. However, attempting to work with both you and Amber would have been a complete (Trainwreck). Sorry!
The two of you have each asked for a certain decision to be made.
Eliot, you have requested safety. However, Abbi did express that she no longer wished to remain in this competition, because this would not be a good career move at this time. This, despite the fact that the world's oldest profession is always hiring.
Eliot, you are safe. That means...
Abbi, you are also safe. You have the power to make your own wish come true without my help by quitting. It's hardly fair to expect me to spend points on your removal when you can opt to do so at no charge to anyone.
As promised, I am eliminating two to four players. Since I've only eliminated one player so far, at least one of you, and possibly both, will be eliminated.
Neither of you have expressed any preference for remaining in the game or leaving the game. Therefore, I have left it up to my own discretion.
Karen, you're eliminated. I'd say "Boo, you whore!", however, whores are on my payroll and you are clearly not.
Zoe, you're also eliminated. You kill people when you have sex with them, and that's bad for business. I like to leave men breathing, if only just enough that they'll want to come back for more and fill my coffers.
With 2 cards in their hand, the Soldier of Honour is...
Congratulations, mister Eliot! Welcome back on top~
With 3 cards in their hand, the Fool is...
Discarding your hand was a great way to ensure your safety. Congrats!
Finally, the nominees are...
Eliot, you have 20 points in your War History.
You get a free elimination.
Every additional elimination will cost you 2 points*
To help you with your decision, here is the total War History:
Note: if you eliminate all 3 nominees, you will trigger the Finale.
*For those wondering how that's possible, well, you all took so many penalties from Declined battles, additional eliminations and excess cards that the total War History went down to 17.
Congratulations Final 5, you are almost at the end.
However, we still have one battle to go through before the finale.
Here's how it's going to work: your cards from last round will be carried over to this one.
Moreover, you will have to choose 5 cards from a regular deck.
Once you've chosen your 5 cards, you will be allowed to bid for one of those:
This card had several powers.
As such, it can be used to beat Pink and Multiweapon cards.
Moreover, you can also transform this card into any of the 9 regular cards.
Finally, the round this card is played cannot be affected by the Time Warp.
PINK MULTIWEAPON A
PINK MULTIWEAPON B
PINK MULTIWEAPON C
This card wins any weapon matchup against a sword, a wand or an arrow, and any colour matchup against red, blue and green cards.
Three of those are up for auction, please specify which one you're bidding on, otherwise your bid will not count.
In order to bid, you must select the 5 cards you want to add to your hand, then bid 1 of those cards + any amount of points you have. That means Kyungran and Abbi, since you have negative points, you may not participate~
If a bid goes unchallenged for an hour or before the deadline, the item goes to the last bidder, and replaces the card they bid in their hand. Bidding starts 6 hours from this post.
You may bid till 3:40:59PM EST.
I will now send you reminders of the cards in your hand.
